The Mekedonia Homes is a home-grown non-governmental, non-profit and independent organization, founded  January 2010. The purpose of Mekedonia Homes is to support the elderly and people with Mental disabilities who otherwise have no means of support or survival by providing them with shelter, clothing, food, medical and other basic services. The organization is an Ethiopian Resident Charity and headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
