Our organization is a locally-based, non-governmental, non-profit, and independent charity founded in January 2010. Our primary focus is to provide support for the elderly and individuals with mental disabilities who lack the necessary means for survival.
At Mekedonia Homes, we firmly believe in providing comprehensive care and support to those in need. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming home environment where our residents can receive shelter, clothing, food, medical care, and other basic services that they require to live fulfilling lives.
We are proud to be an Ethiopian resident charity with our headquarters located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In addition to Addis Ababa, Mekedonia Homes has several branches located in other regions throughout Ethiopia, including Harar, Gore, Dire Dawa, Dessie, Adama, Gambella, Shashemane, Beke, and Adwa.
Through our various locations, we are able to provide support to more than 7,500 individuals who are in need of assistance. Our dedicated team of professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that each person we serve receives the necessary care and support to live a fulfilling life.
We are proud of the work that we do, and we are committed to continuing to expand our services to reach even more individuals in need. We invite you to join us in our mission to make a positive impact in our community.
Whether you are interested in volunteering, making a donation, or simply learning more about our organization, we welcome you to reach out to us.
